The Infrared inspection of in-service equipment has proven to be a valuable tool in the electrical maintenance program.

Global Transformer Services have our own Infra Red camera to provide a “fault finding” service. The Infrared inspection is combined with the reporter software to offer creating compelling and professional reports.

Infra Red surveys of transformers and its associated accessories can identify faults that can assist in the overall determination of problems. On Transformers, it provides and external view that can be of value when used together with internal inspections.

The equipment is ideally suited to be pro-active in identifying problems in our Industry in order to do preventative maintenance and thus eliminating or reducing down-time of equipment.
